uluTrade was founded in 2006 by Leon Yohai. ZuluTrade bridged the gap between valuable information in money markets and trade execution by converting the advice of some of the most professional and talented traders globally, to a rapidly executed trade.

Every day, ZuluTrade receives thousands of buy and sell recommendations from some of the most popular signal providers in the market today, trading automatically your broker account.

We have started Zulutrade because of the non existence of a web platform that could audit all traders globally and in the same time, to share their knowledge with interested people in their strategies plus the ability to drive any of their trades to the broker accounts of the interested parties.

There was a number of challenges. The existing autotrading technology could not allow to trade multiple accounts at the same time, since scaling problems could occur at the broker's side. We had to sit down with the brokers and redesign the APIs (in some cases we have developed APIs of our own) in order to accommodate all the demand in large scale We had to develop from scratch the API for the so famous MT4 platform, since Metaquotes does not provide any API. In addition, other brokers offered non functional APIs that had to be redeveloped in order to be able to accommodate multiple accounts at the same time.

The concept of Zulutrade is to offer an open environment, where traders globally could connect any trading platform and share their knowledge, plus a rebate every time someone uses their knowledge as a live trade

Zulurank is a proprietary algorithm that ranks a trader, by analyzing different factors, such as the amount of trading activity, the drawdown of each trade and the whole PnL, how often the trader logs in, the age of the signal provider into Zulutrade, the amount of time a trade stays open, his sharp ratio, and many many other factors.

  Leon Yohai was born in Athens, Greece in 1974, and began his entrepreneurial career when he founded fleamarket.gr, Greece's first and largest e-auction website in 1999. In 2001 he founded InternetQ SA, the company that introduced premium text messaging billing in Greece, with more than 1.7 mil. subscribers. He acquired 40% of the Greek mobile market and $23 mil in annual revenues. Leveraging his knowledge of the wireless digital media industry, Leon came to the United States to launch Qmobile, a mobile entertainment startup that quickly gained 25% of market share in the first 3 months of its operation in the US. QMobile has hundreds of thousands subscribers, and over $20 mil. revenues for 2006. Leon has been trading futures, in equities and money markets since 2000, and recognized a need for a service for individual traders, who have busy schedules and cannot follow the rapidly changing markets, yet need total control of their funds.   Anargyros Garyfalos (Gary) leads the technical department at ZuluTrade. Gary has spent more than 10 years developing and designing IT projects in the area of telecoms and investment banking (British Telecom, JP Morgan). Gary holds a PhD in the area of Computer Science from the university of Lancaster, UK. He is also a guest member of the "Networking and Multimedia Systems Lab" in the university of California (UCSB)

  Roula Pelehrinis leads the Business Development-Institutional Sales Department at ZuluTrade. With more than 10 years experience in the futures and forex Industry, Roula is responsible for the expansion of the business via integrated partnerships, including exclusive relationships with System Vendors and Futures Commission Merchants. Roula has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a Series 3 Futures Broker, License Series 6 Investment Companies and 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law.
